about tradition

kitchen design specialists

Woodworking, antiques, and furniture have been passions in our family for generations. Growing up in rural Suffolk, in a 16th-century farmhouse, I was immersed in traditional methods of making from an early age. With parents deeply rooted in the arts and crafts movement—my mother specialising in caning and tapestry, and my father running an antique furniture restoration business—it was inevitable that I would be influenced by this heritage. Today, that legacy continues through my work with kitchens and fine furniture, bringing timeless craftsmanship into every piece I create.

furniture

Tradition Bespoke woodwork integrates traditional construction methods with modern functionality to build structures that are both lasting and practical. Striving to steer away from a disposable culture, a strong build is an essential practice in our workshop.

design

The design process starts with a site visit where we can see the space, the type of property and and the functionality of the product required.  We will then provide you with a concept and samples that can be worked with until you are satisfied and ready to begin production.

our approach

To provide an outstanding product that can't be found on the shelf. Something personal to you and your home. Something to start conversations. Truly bespoke pieces of furniture.
